About The Marble Fruit

One look at the extraordinarily life-like marble fruit sculptures produced by five Italian artisans in Tuscany and you will swear they are nature’s competition! The Marble Fruit Company is the exclusive importer for the renowned Rovai family marble works. Their marble fruit is known for its incredibly realistic appearance and high quality marble - the prized white Carrara marble used to create the pieces is mined from the same quarries in Italy that supplied Michelangelo with the raw material to produce his outstanding sculptures ‘David’ and ‘Pieta’. Whether you are adding some flair to your dining room table or purchasing a timeless apple for your favorite teacher, marble fruit is a true piece of Italian art.

About The Marble Fruit
Marble fruit is unique because it is not mass-produced like other faux fruits. The artisans sculpt, paint and use a process to add texture to each individual piece. Therefore, not one looks the same as the next – just like real fruit. For just a few dollars more than the standard faux fruit in the market, you can get a piece of fruit that is a true work of Italian art. The Marble Fruit Company features over twenty different types of fruit and nuts namely traditional lemons, oranges, apples, peaches, etc., and an Italian-themed Tuscan line of black and green figs, kaki-persimmons, plums and medlars. Whatever you choose, you will own a piece of original art that will last a lifetime. Viva Italia!

The Marble Fruit Company Story, Fear Factor, Italian Marble
After experiencing the magic of Italy, sisters Jessica (Brown) Parise and Samantha (Brown) Martin could not resist the temptation to bring a little Italian flair to the United States. The Marble Fruit Company, importer and specialist in hand-carved and hand-painted marble fruit, was created by the sisters in April 2002. The initial capital for the company was generated by Jessica's outstanding victory in NBC’s Fear Factor (episode 204). A dream developed on an idyllic break in Italy became reality thanks to NBC!Jessica and Samantha at the 2003 Architectural Digest Home Design Show in New York City.
